Using a variety of bio-data sensors and a unique algorithm, we found a way to read visualize a user’s stress snapshot in real time. Over the course of year we eventually built 10 of these kits that traveled all over the world and engaged with thousands of people to start the conversation of stress management and the negative physical effects it has on the human body. We designed an experience that translated four different channels of brainwave data into the components of a color value. These color values were then displayed as a growing vertical timeline, filling a 17' LED screen. We used EEG headsets and generative software to create an experience that was immediate and immersive. After participants finished their brainwave analysis, a custom color gradient swatch was generated based on their most frequent colors and brainwave ranges. Participants took away a printed version of their swatch with brainwave data and also received a digital, social asset version of the Thinking In Color experience. The participants put on brainwave headsets that would allow them to “out-crave” each other. Their corresponding EEG brainwave data would then pull a Big Box tray towards them. Our custom built table housed an electromagnetic levitation device on a concealed belt-driven slider that was controlled purely by the player's minds in real time. A custom built web game was launched alongside the ad where users around the world could compete against eachother for a year’s supply of fried chicken. All in all, the campaign had 40+ million online impressions. The custom built camera rig (utilizing 20 SLR cameras) automatically shot, stiched, and exported a unique shareable asset via a custom branded emailer to each participant in under 60 seconds. The activation was a huge success and branded content was posted by consumers all week long.
